Festes i fires

From Santa Pau's Fira del Fesols (January), to the Mostra de Pessebres d'Olot (December), or the grander Temps de Flors festival de Girona (May) to the Fira Medieval de Vic (December), cultural and culinary events mark the year around La Rectoria.  There is the smaller Festa Mejor of Sant Feliu de Pallerols (May) with its performing 'cavallettes' to the larger and more boisterous Festa de la Tura of Olot (September) with the dancing 'gigants in cap grossos' (giants and big heads).  So whilst at La Rectoria why not immerse yourself in some of the living heritage of this part of Catalonia.
