The House

...five large arched windows offering a panoramic view of La Val d'Hostoles.

7 double bedrooms, 2 on the first floor and a further 5 on the second.  Three of the bedrooms can be adapted as twins with one having the option of an additional bed.  The beds meet the standards of the hospitality industry and white Egyptian cotton bedding is used.  All of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with rain-head showers, heated towel rails, a hair dryer and organic, ecological soaps.  Towels for the swimming pool are provided.

The spacious entrance hall retains the original wooden floor and ceiling.  This leads through to the dining room with its five large arched windows offering a panoramic view of La Val d'Hostoles. The TV room and the 'Old Kitchen' with its wood burning stove are also on the first floor.  The house has central heating which is supplemented by solar panels providing hot water.  Free wi-fi is available throughout the house.

La Rectoria sits on the 100km long Olot-Girona-Sant Feliu de Guixols Via Verde greenway and can be reached on foot, by bicycle, bus or car. There is ample car parking, a large lawn and a discreet salt water swimming pool. Between La Rectoria and the chapel which gives the house its name is a partially shaded patio which provides an ideal place to enjoy an aperitif.
