La Rectoria de Sant Miquel de Pineda is situated in La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. Accredited since 2013 under the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (Europarc Federation) sitting near the head of La Vall d'Hostoles, it is immediately adjacent to the Olot-Girona Via Verde greenway. La Rectoria provides direct access to a range of cycling and walking routes. La Garrotxa has numerous medieval towns and villages to visit and a unique volcanic landscape to explore. In addition to providing comfortable accommodation, breakfast and dinner are prepared using local ingredients, La Rectoria also has a large garden with a swimming pool and patio where to enjoy a glass of wine or a ratafia.
