Location

La Rectoria's unique accessibility and location in the foothills of the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees means that we offer guests a 5% discount if they choose to travel here using sustainable transport - on foot, by bicycle, bus or electric vehicle.  (This offer is valid only for direct bookings)

Sitting directly on the Olot -Girona Via Verde, 14km south of Olot,  guests can choose to arrive by bicycle or on foot.  There are also direct bus links from Barcelona and Girona which leave passengers only 10 minutes walk from La Rectoria ('Public Transport' - Location).

By car La Rectoria is only 1.5 hours drive from Barcelona (2 hours to the airport) and 50 minutes from Girona city or Girona airport.

The AVE, Spain's high speed train has stations at Girona and Figueres.  Trains from Barcelona to Girona take 40 minutes and from Madrid to Girona approximately 3.5 hours.

The Costa Brava is little more than an hours drive and Perpignan in France 1.5 hours
